JAMB Direct Entry Change of Course / Institution 2019

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB Direct Entry change of Institution/Course has commenced. Everything you need to know about the process is available here online.

Did you apply for the JAMB 2019 Direct Entry and wish to make changes to your selected course(s) / institution(s)? If yes, JAMB has opened the portal to effect such change.

To change your direct entry course(s) or institution(s) and other data, you have to understand the following:

  • Names Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • Date of Birth Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • Passport Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • Gender Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • State/LGA Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • Profile Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • A’Level Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done once)
  • Choice of Institution/Course Correction for Direct Entry candidates (Correction can only be done twice with separate payments)

How to Apply for JAMB Direct Entry Change of Course.

  1. Go to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board portal at www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/.
  2. Login with your Email and Password.
  3. Click on ‘Registration (2019 only)’ from the list of services on the left side.
  4. From the drop down, select ‘2019 Direct Entry Data Correction’.
  5. Then proceed to payment.

After payment, proceed to either the closest JAMB office or a JAMB accredited centre to complete the process.

JAMB Change of Course and Institution/Data Correction Guide 2019/2020

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB change of Institution/Course has commenced. Everything you need to know about the process is available here online.

This is to inform all the candidates who made mistakes while filling their forms during the 2019 UTME Registration that they can now make corrections for the following categories:

  1. Names Correction (Correction can only be done once)
  2. Passport Photograph Correction (Correction can only be done once)
  3. Gender Correction (Correction can only be done once)
  4. UTME Subjects Correction (Correction can only be done once)
  5. State/LGA Correction (Correction can only be done once)
  6. Profile Correction (Correction can only be done once)
  7. Choice of Institution/Course Correction (Correction can only be done more than once with separate payments)

NB: Changes for Course/Institution, Names, Date of Birth, Gender, State/LGA of Origin, etc. cost N2,500 (two thousand five hundred naira only).

Follow the procedure outlined below to effect any of the changes above:

  1. Go to JAMB portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/.
  2. Login with your Email and Password.
  3. Click on ‘Registration (2019 only)’ from the list of services on the left side.
  4. From the drop down, select ‘2019 UTME Data Correction‘.
  5. Then proceed to payment.

After payment, proceed to either the closest JAMB office or a JAMB accredited centre to complete the process.

The window for correction of data on JAMB portal is still open.

JAMB Change of Course & Institution / Data Correction Procedure for 2017 Downward.

For 2017 and years below, follow the procedure outlined below to change your data on JAMB portal.

  1. Visit JAMB E-facility portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/.
  2. Login with your Email and Password.
  3. Click on ‘Application for Correction of Data (2017 Downward)’ from the list of services on the left side.
  4. From the drop down, select the one you wish to correct i.e. Course/Institution, Names, Date of Birth, Gender, State/LGA of Origin .

2017 and years below can effect changes on their own without the CBT centre.

NDA 71st Regular Course Entrance Exam Date/Subject Combinations

This is to inform the general public that Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has scheduled 71st Regular Course Entrance Exam Examination Date and Subject Combinations – check here online.


Applicants who successfully completed and submitted their applications are invited to the NDA Entrance Examination.

Applicants who successfully completed and submitted their applications are invited to the NDA Entrance Examination.

Conduct of NDA Entrance Examination for 71 Regular Course is scheduled to hold on Saturday 13 April 2019 Saturday 8  June 2019.

Sequel to the earlier postponement of the NDA Screening Test for 71 Regular Course, the Academy has fixed Saturday 8  June 2019 as the new date in which the screening test will hold simultaneously across different centres nationwide.

In the light of this, candidates who duly applied to the Nigerian Defence Academy and successfully scored minimum of 180 (One Hundred and Eighty) in UTME  are advised to visit application portal on the NDA website to select the examination centre of their choice and print out their examination card

NDA Entrance Exam Subjects Combinations.

  1. Candidates for FASS. Candidates for FASS are to answer all questions in any THREE of the following subjects that are applicable to the candidate’s chosen course:
    1) Mathematics – (Compulsory for Psychology candidates).
    (2) Economics.
    (3) Geography.
    (4) History.
    (5) Government.
    (6) French.
    (7) Biology – (Compulsory for Psychology candidates).
  2. Candidates for Sciences. Candidates for courses in Faculty of Science are to answer questions as follows:
    1. Mathematics (Mathematics and any 2 of Physics, Chemistry and Economics).
    2. Physics (Physics and any 2 of Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology).
    3. Chemistry (Chemistry and any 2 of Physics, Biology and Mathematics).
    4. Biology (Biology and any 2 of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics).
  3. Candidates for Engineering. Candidates for the Faculty of Engineering are to answer ALL questions in the 3 subjects listed below:
    (1) Mathematics.
    (2) Physics.
    (3) Chemistry.
  4. Candidates for Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies.  Candidates for Intelligence & Cyber Security Studies are to answer the following:
    1. Mathematics
    2. Physics and
    3. Anyone of Biology, Chemistry or Economics.

Please note that only those with duly printed Examination Card will be admitted into the various centres for the test.
