Things to be observed by students before being admitted to study in any of the courses in any Institution. One of these which include meeting the required cut of mark for each schools as well as the courses itself. It is very easy to obtain admission if one has met the required cut off mark for the admission into a particular course.

Cut off mark is an agreed score set by a particular institution as a basic of admitting students into the department of study.

This score is usually accredited to candidates based on their performance in a particular examination. However, students who have scored above the required cut off mark will be given admission and preferentially treated in admission process above those who have met the exacts cut off mark.

JAMB Fixed Cut-off Mark

Jamb fixed cut off mark for FUOYE is 180.

You might ask questions like: I had 180 and above but was not still given the admission to study my desired course?

Mostly any Candidates with higher scores are first considered in admission basics candidates with lower scores though might meet the cut off mark of 180 may likely not be admitted. In fact, it is the higher your scores, the higher the chance of being admitted.

Departmental Cut off Mark

The school does not really have a specific cut off mark for courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of one 180 in UTME examination is eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.

Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses; have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.

 

Please if your first choice institution is FUOYE and you did not make the above stated cut off mark, I will advise you to change your Institution to another school that you are qualified.

According to the management, only candidates who score a minimum of 180 (for Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Military Science & Interdisciplinary Studies) and 210 (for Faculty of Engineering) in JAMB 2018 examination shall be admitted into NDA by the AFSB.

Please if your first choice institution is NDA and you did not make the above stated cut off mark, I will advise you to change your Institution to another school that you are qualified.

Admission into Edo University is open to candidates who sat for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a minimum UTME score of 160 for all Courses with the exception of Medicine and Surgery which is 200.

Please if your first choice institution is EUI and you did not make the above stated cut off mark, I will advise you to change your Institution to another school that you are qualified.

How To Check JAMB CBT Result Online 2019 – www.jamb.org.ng

All candidate that participated in the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are check their result here online.

JAMB Direct Entry Admission Form

This is to inform all that candidates that  participated in the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) 2019/2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they can now check their results.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of 1,792,719 candidates that sat for the 2019 UTME, while the results of 34,120 candidates have been witheld for various infractions.

To access your 2019 JAMB UTME Results kindly follow the steps outlined below.

All candidates can now send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration. The result, would be replied as an SMS shortly after.

  1. Go to JAMB result checking portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults.

  3. Click on ‘Check My Results’.
  4. The portal will load your result if it’s ready.

NB: JAMB UTME results are released in batches. If the portal returns with ‘You Do Not Have Any Result Yet’, that  implies your result is not yet ready. SO you have to check back later.
