The entry requirement is five (5) credit at the maximum of 2 sittings including English and Mathematics and credit in relevant couse subject combination.
In exceptional cases candidate are offered admission into NCE with minimum of three credits and two passes in line with the NCCE Minumum Standard. In the case of Pre-NCE, candidates are admitted into the programme with the minimum of four (4) pases and promoted into NCE I having scored 1.5 CGPA and JAMB minimum score.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE COLLEGE
The NCE programme is the primary mandate of the College. The NCE programme admits students for a minimum of three years and maximum of five years. The programme has two semesters in a session. Each year an average of three thousand five hundred (3500) candidates are admitted while at the end of registration an average of two thousand two hundred students are registered. The total number of student population in the College from NCE I-II is approximately Five Thousand Six Hundred (5600). After completion of the NCE III programme the College issues statement of result to the successful students. Certificates are also issued to the students after two (2) years of completion of their NCE programme.
